The markings are "cloth - Ermenegildo Zegna".... "Made in USA of imported fabric"... Who makes this suit and is it worth the $450.00 to buy it? Or is it sitting on someone other stores rack for even half that? This was at Off Fifth.

Made in the USA? The only ones I've seen there have been made in Mexico. There was another thread about this recently.

Might be junk but I don't know about scam considering that they are at Saks Fifth's outlet.

The Off 5th made in USA suits are really not bad. They are much nicer than the Mexican suits from seasons past. I'd go for it if the suit fits well and you need it.

Often, these items are made directly for the outlets, but they put a "retail" price on it and then cross it out to make it appear to be a deal. Also, they are depending on customers not knowing the difference between an E. Zegna suit and a suit made of Zegna cloth by an anonymous maker.

That is not to say the suit in question is junk; if it fits you and you like the cut and the material, that counts for a lot, esp. if you are a hard-to-find size. Off Fifth does have frequent sales and coupons, BTW.

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)
