Bought this shirt at the private sale.
Do you guys think it's too long for me?

What I'm mostly looking at is the shoulders and sleeves. Even if you'd shorten it, it would still be too big. I also think the colorway is a bit goofy but that's personal opinion. If it was up to me I'd return/sell it.

cant return it as I removed the tag :(
it has linen in it so will never be fitted close to body however I may ask them to shorten length and arms.

I don't buy SLP tops because of it, they're always too long on me. Rather just thrift those anyways.

Dang ASAP you're no-joke thin! You could rock Dior Homme from 2006. ;)

Does anyone have experience with the lighter Saint Laurent washes? Was thinking about giving a Malibu Blue pair a try; most of my washes are always dark indigo or black, an occasional grey, too.

I own a couple of the lighter distressed pairs from a few seasons back ( i think 2015 or 2016) and really enjoy them in the summer. I have a non distressed 100% cotton pair that is a bit difficult for me to wear because i bought it TTS and haven't/never worn it long enough for it to stretch out, so it is not as comfortable for me to wear.

I think they go well with lighter colors for day time wear. I tend to wear my darker washes at night.

And one more

What input are you asking for? Fit, style etc? The jacket is not something i would wear personally, as i think it would be a bit difficult to put together without calling too much attention to yourself. Its a bit too dressy for casual wear that you paired it with in this picture (t-2hirt and light wash blue denim) and I would almost always pick a color more conservative for evening wear (I would wear a white blazer before something like this). If you want a statement piece, i think there are a pair of gold wyatts that could achieve a similar effect, without going overboard.

As for the denim, while the trend is toward looser, baggier pants, i still prefer slimmer pants. I think a trimmer and shorter pair would look better on you.

Have D02's like these ever been made with the distressed raw hems? As far as I know the pairs I've seen all have normal hems. They should be from 2015.

These boys definitely look a bit wonky.

These are from 2016 and have been customized/distressed (probably by hand). They may have been produced in 2015 but they are from the S/S16 collection.

2015 Nut Santiag
2015 Black Leather Harness Santiag
2013 Ochre Suede Cowboy Wyatt
2015 Black Leather Harness Wyatt
2016 Black Python Devon
2015 Fox Suede Harness Wyatt

I was using shoe trees on my shoes until my 2013 grail cowboy wyatts and the upper started to separate from the sole! I was using spring loaded shoe trees and it put too much tension on those boots and they started to separate slightly from the sole. I ended up taking them to a cobbler and having them fix them like new, but it was an unsettling discovery. Now I just use the heads of the shoe tree and jam them into the toe box on all my boots.

Great lineup - I still hold the Santiags in higher regard than the Lukas although I will admit that the Lukas are a sleeker model.

thankz for the inputs, u pointed out all the points I was missing.
I was looking for opinions on the fit and style, and I really like the suit jacket, sorry for the bad lighting, I think the color of the lighting can’t show the true color of the suit jacket, and because of the reflective surface, the color varied.
as for the jeans, that’s D02, size 28, I guess I really need a belt

I wear Santiags ALL of the time. Especially my nut suede Santiags. They look incredible with light wash D02's or faded black D01's. The Lukas boots do have a sleeker profile and comparably look similar, but in my honest opinion, the Santiags look more masculine and just straight bad ass (black harness version especially, they turn heads).

I have sold a majority of my Hedi Wyatt and Devon boots. Any pair of my Santiags, will be what I want on my feet when they bury me. Hahaha.

While I am on here, anyone interested in buying a SS2013 Lamb Cafe Racer (50 fits closer to tts) or AW2018 L01 (52)? I can post pics upon interest/request.

Where are you trying on the jacket? It looks quite big to me, like a 46 but you should be wearing a 44. I ask because you'll want to have the sleeves tailed in terms of length but also the width seems too much. The shirt seems to fit you well but you have to be cool w/ the costume-thing. ;)
