I agree the raw indigo is great. I need to find some myself as I've moved up to a 30. I have two brand new pairs that I'm going to be selling when I get round to it in 29 if you happen to take that size.

I picked up the slim recently in the indigo as it looks unlikely that the D02 will be back. The slim looked cool in the SS 2013 lookbook with the turn up anyway so I'm pretty glad to have those.

I have quite a few pairs of D02s now, but I still really love this raw indigo pair, I feel like it’s underrated. Anyone know where I can find another pair?
Those look really good on you. Did you happen to have any alterations done? If so, what were they? Hem/tapering? I've recently been pondering altering a couple d02 pairs so they aren't so stacked, I'm 5'8, but in the past have not liked the results.

Wow, great post, thanks ! I bet it will be helpful for many people. Beyond this, it's very interesting to know the differences.

Thank you! It's crazy how interested in cut/fashion I've become and can find flow in finding items and learning the cuts that Hedi produced, especially now that he currently isn't designing. Not sure what that says about me. Although I put a lot of effort into the comparison they are numbers and do not quite get at the nuances of the aesthetic changes that a simple inch or a few centimeters can make such as your post did on the teddy jackets. The best I can do to show the difference in fit are these:

Here you can see AV's D02 denim and at the bottom the jeans are wider than the boot at it's hem, which for me doesn't make a seamless transition to the boot, it's more blockish. Also, because the hem is wider it effects the calf width as well or tapering, which isn't in my measurements comparison but creates a billowy calf area.

Here is a pair of Hedi's and because Hedi's hem width is differentiated per size creates a closer hem to flow nicely to the shoe to meet it almost at the same width and because it has a smaller width creates a subtle tapering in the calf.

Not the best pics but one gets the idea.

Did Woodbury have the grey d02s? Or any d02s?

No gray D02s

Just the black bleached pair that’s 100 percent cotton
And the black destroyed denim with those studs in the rips

And a couple pair of the D04 biker denim in 27 for $399

489 for the oiled suede Wyatt’s
And 89 for the belt

I believe they had a 43 left in the Wyatt.

Just had the hem taken up, did not taper.
