Hey, All - Hope everyone is well. Taking a look at the website, only one pre-order for me this time with the Officer Jacket but I'm curious if anyone has seen any of the items in person, yet? Anything of note? Curious about the boots. On the website, at least, there's too much viscose for my taste...
Hi Prudy, I've seen a couple of these in women's, as they came to my area first and my wife was trying them on. My impression is they're pretty incredible, as they somehow carry the quality and presence of the duffles but without the weightiness and bulkiness. The sleeves are cut high, but not super so it would be TTS even with a light sweater underneath. This is extrapolating from the womenswear, but I've tried a few blazers and have one from FW 2016 and that was the feeling I got about a lot of the pieces.

@onlyslp
You wear a 27 in SL jeans or what? I wear 28 most of the time in SL and am at 2nd hole on size 80 and around 4th hole on size 85. I took the 85 because I like a little extra hanging off.

@valedictorian I got a polka dot shirt on sale in a size up, it did end up being too big for my tastes, but I just got the sleeves and bottom hem shortened and now it fits as I wanted.

Thanks man. I am just concerned it would be too 'roomy' around the chest and upper arm area. Apparently a size 39 is like 4 centimeters (1.6 inches) wider around the chest compared to a size 38, which I think is outrageous.

How does your fit around those areas (chest, arm)? Like your other shirts or still bigger than you'd like?

honestly in my experience it's never worth buying things in the wrong size because they're on sale, it's not your size so just forget you ever saw it

@valedictorian In the arms it's fine. The fit in the chest isn't very close to my body. It fits like this shirt does on the model http://www.barneys.com/saint-laurent-polka-dot-scarf-neck-top-504634900.html where it drapes off the body a little.
Keep in mind though, I got to try the shirt on before I purchased it in a size up, and I definitely feel where @edwardh123 is coming from, so proceed with caution.

@Prudy that jacket is awesome. tried it on the other day. normally I'm between a 46 and a 48, but the 46 was super tight in the arms and shoulders, like the other officer jacket. quality and fit are great.

some of the denim has now made it to the stores. the washed black d02's (no rips), i didn't have time to try them on. but will this week and will get back to everyone.

I tried the double-breasted military coat and the club jacket. The military coat is longer than long coats in past seasons. I don't like it past my knees (I'm 5'9). The club jacket is a very light weight jacket. It didn't seem to be of high quality, with loose threads all over, and the patch seemed to be glued, although I didn't spend too much time examining it. Those were the two jackets I thought I would buy right away, but didn't.

Edit: I tried the long coat on again like two seconds ago and now I'm not convinced it's longer than my other Saint Laurent long coats. Buying!

@SirGrotius @therattler thanks, Gents! Appreciate that info, it will be some time before I can make it into a boutique and I have been wanting to pick up a military-style piece for a while now, so good to hear. Also, sounds like it's what I expected on sizing - I am between 46-48 and I went with the 48...

Thanks again! Looking forward to seeing what you guys pick up from the final season.

That's not really outrageous at all - in fact it's pretty normal and it will often be 2 inches. The general rule is that you take 37 in shirts if you take 44 in jackets, 38 if 46, 39 if 48, and 40 if 50. Those jacket sizes have 2 inch increments.

So Kanye uses audio from his "It's been like that for a minute, Hedi Slimane!" rant in his new video.

What's it been now, three years? Man, Hedi really got under that guy's skin...

Thanks @edwardh123 and @GeneralNegative
I think I will skip the opportunity then...

@kieran84 I agree but I am usually a 46 in all brands, even for SLP with the exception of very few items because Hedi's team made them tight in recent seasons. I am therefore a 38 in shirts according to your outline here above. So based on that, plus the advice/explanation of the other 2 gentlemen, I'm gonna skip the purchase.

Thanks again!
