Raws? Could you post fit pic curious how it looks, thanks
I've also been trying to find some images of worn and washed SLP raw denim. I have a pair of black D01's I've been wearing for almost a year now and I want to see what I can expect from a machine wash. I suppose all the washed jeans are examples of possible outcomes.
Is there a way you can tell what season your boots are from? Don't remember if my wyatts are 2013 or 2014.
hey guys....thinking of getting the Bold 5's for $170 shipped, brand new, black color...good deal?
They look a bit too skinny to be something I'd want in a raw denim, no?
FW14 D02 and Hedi 30's
Is your new peak lapel blazer the one in all black gabardine (no satin / grosgrain on lapels)? If so and you have the tags do you know it it's from this season (2015 3) or last season (2015 1)?
Thanks a lot
No satin. And I threw out the tags, but I think it's from this season because there was a price hike. Bought it at Selfridges last month.
Jeans desperately need a hem imo. There's stacks and then there's pancaking and we see the latter here. Not saying you can't wear the denim, I'm saying that they add a ton of weight to your feet and they'd look better if you hemmed them.
@Eyealt I'm all for hemming, but hemming the trash denim significantly reduces the look of the jeans as the bottom rips would be taken away, also, I am sure most everyone that owns SLP denim, wants to resell it at some point in the future, and the reality is that not everyone that can afford SLP denim is the tall/skinny models u c on the runway...if you gotta stack, you gotta stack, for shorter guys it can actually make you look taller IF stacked right, but I think some people in this forum take this a little too serious, there's more to life than denim
personally I hem my plain jeans but I keep the distressed jeans unhemmed cause it goes with the whole trashy look
@needhelp123 that is exactly what i am saying....what WOULD be great is if SLP starts to offer a 32 and 34 and even possibly a 30 size length to cater to everyone and I bet length size 30 will be sold out before all other sizes lol
crazy length 34 motherfuckers haha
I have hemmed all my SLP denim that carry a plainer wash as well. 3" off that the SLP in house tailor has done for me (wonderful job)...the associates were nottt happy about the idea, they freaked out actually. Yet most of them are tall as hell vs my 5'7 ass. The ss15 destroyed one like @BeraQueezy has in his photo, I chose not to and just wear it with low top gear and the stacks work there.
Lol there should be nothing shorter than 34. For any brand!
I'm in agreement with keeping stacks on trashed denim. While I believe the look could look equally as good with a shorter hem, I would not want to lose out on the distressing detail on the back heel.
I appreciate the comments/suggestion though.
