Yap. Kobe,Japan is the only other outlet in Asia beside Hong Kong.
The best one, in terms of price, is located in The Mall near Firenze.

So I'm currently in Paris, and was going to just not bother getting my first SLP stuff here since I'm from NYC, but this sentence gave me pause. Does this mean prices here would be cheaper than if I bought them in NYC? I don't just mean VAT either. (Also, I'm fine with buying via SuFu/SF forums--not dead set on retail). Someone advise, please. :) I was going to just buy some Creed but if there's a big price difference I may pick up the skinny jeans you guys rave about 24/7.

^^ yeah, it is definitely cheaper in Europe. Right now exchange rate is 1.10. Consider the FW15 mid rise in Paris are going to cost you about 300ish€ out the door. In the US they are $590 + tax.

Even using your CC and paying a foreign transaction fee you pay way less. You can also get reimbursed the VAT but it's a hassle at the airport and you have to pay customs in US. Just buy them, remove/throw away the tags and wear them home or while your in Paris for a day. You're going to save over $200 at least, I'm guessing.

Oh, wow. Yeah I know their US price (to be honest I usually go for Naked & Famous--though not their crazy makeups--and Momotaro, so I've been a bit hesitant about shelling out thrice the price for a non-denim-specialist). But 300e is pretty damn fine. I have a CC with no foreign transaction fees so that's not a concern. Going to do what you suggested. Will check back in once I've got them--thanks.

Edit: Is there a main SLP store that I should go to? They have stores across rue Faubourg, Avenue Montaigne, Printemps, etc...does anyone know?

I'll be in Paris this weekend and am interested to know which is the best men's store as well. The hassle of the airport detax and customs is almost enough to put me off though.

hey guys, i went tts on the new trash denim. i didn't tailor them, those pics are as is. i got one of the first pairs, they're pretty hard to find, but i think they'll trickle through to the stores over the next few weeks. i like them, but be warned they're verrry different than the destroyeds in both fit, fabric, and finish (more comfy actually :)

Hey, does the outlet in Kobe have many men's selections? Heading to Japan again at the end of this year, went to the outlet in Gotemba last year, but they only had a few men's items compared to the women's. Might consider going to the one in Kobe if they have a range of items.

Quick question about SLP denim. Am I restricted to whatever is in the FW15 and the permanent collection as shown on their website? This is in-store, by the way. Or do they have further offerings that are not shown online? Asking because I browsed the SuFu listing of the poster above me and their SLP was described as a "premium version of the basic line."

Sorry if this is confusing, but i actually forgot I even had this listing up.

In-store they will usually have other items not shown online (or do not have items which are shown online). I do think you're referring to the stretch garbadine jeans right? It's not 'premium' in the sense that SLP has different lines. They only have one-SLP. This is just a pair which was produced in the first season and never done again-its stretch garbadine which is different from all the other more standard denim. It does fit tighter, and I grew out of it

Many thanks for the clarification! Good to know that they have more in-store. I'm pretty sure I'll make a beeline for the mid-rise stretch skinny jeans in black. Its severe minimalism has been growing on me faster than I anticipated.

Decided to size down and got another pair of the raws. Fit is perfect now. Got a pair of Santiag boots to complete the SS15 type look as well!
