^^ All the prices in USD are ridiculous IMO. Buying SLP in Europe is way more reasonable.
Should i get FW15 black 15cm jeans or the SS15 15.5cm black jeans? FW15 is slightly cheaper
Both are raw though are 15cm black jeans normally raw?
I feel like more than $200 is bananas.
sl is crazy overpriced in the states, in europe it's about 30% less. i don't know why it's so much in the us, but it definitely means i buy way more during the part of the year i spend in europe. if you think 700 for a flannel is bad think about paying an extra 1-2k for a leather jacket, the price differences are crazy.
there is indeed a nashville shirt, if i'd pre-ordered it and got the classic red flannel, i'd get in touch with sl. they're totally different shirts, like i said there are many different kinds of flannel this season and they're not the same though they look similar.
The FW13 flannel I have cost about $590.. maybe even $690 and I still use it about once or twice a week. the cut always elevates my simple black on black outfit and I always get compliments on it. I think that alone is worth it for me. I know these will get used for another few years at least.
The other thing I have to mention is that the pattern is very unique even if it looks like something you'd see in a skate shop. Sometimes you need to see it on to truly appreciate what it can do visually instead of just seeing it on a rack. That might sound pretentious, but it's no different from someone wondering why your $1400 Wyatt Harness boots look and feel better than a pair of $100 Frye's.
another big drop on SSENSE FW15 with accessories too
will the saint laurent black raw jeans rub on my white clothing and shoes? and should i size down one?
interestingly the rip knees that just dropped on ssense (and that are going to be sold out in like a day) are raw and mij, so i guess there are a couple of different versions this year.
i agree, the flannels are pretty much perfect. but they're still pricy for what they are
You guys with the blue flannel -- what aize are you taking for it to 'fit' correctly given its oversized - eg would you get medium if you're an IT48-50 or a small to compensate for the oversized factor? ... Kinda regret cancelling my preorder on the S and M online now
i'd go tts, the shoulders and upper block are still cut pretty precisely.
Finally found measurements of the red flannel on Ssense.
the new red and grey fit huuuuuge
Ok. I like the new flannels a lot. Which one fits most slim? And at that is it actually slim? Or does it fit like a
regular tailored wide fit? I don't want a sloppy box look
what helps the rationale for copping in europe is the weak euro right now.
I know that it always is cheaper to buy over there especially with VAT reclaim if you do not live in the EU but if the EUR was still trading at 1.3-1.4 vs the dollar, the savings would be greatly affected.
Im in australia and on ysl.com when i set country to aus i pay usd and our dollar very week.
Am i able to buy in Euro?
Also should i get the FW15 black jean which is slimmer and higher rise and longer inseam or should i get SS15 jean both raw 15cm and 15.5cm, mij and fw15 slightly cheaper.
For those that own both, should I go with the new FW15 red flannel that dropped on ssense or try to find a FW13 red flannel for the same price? @scanner
