I don't think it's that really. Not many people are going to recognise it as being Saint Laurent, and £1180 isn't really cheap (I mean if you can afford that then you can probably afford £1500 - £2000). I think people might just be recognising that it's a really cool coat (I don't however think it's very easy to pull off, and most aren't going to look anything like as cool as the model does).

The original velvet collar chesterfield was nice, but a touch small for me in my regular 48. I think they needed to re-size them a touch to be true, but not anything like to the extent that they did.

i meant in the same way everyone bought the denim and leather zip jeans.

they work for them to get 'likes' on instagram / whatever.

this one is the best one. cashmere should make it nice to the touch too.

That one is cool, I considered pre-ordering it but you have to live somewhere cold to sport cashmere, and I don't, it's pretty mild and cool where I am.

Also, it's super dressy - I think the peacoat or shorter coats sans cashmere are more useful across multiple looks. I would love to own that coat but I think it's one of those where I would put it on at home an love it but rarely wear it out...

Oh, NVM - lol, I thought that coat was mostly cashmere but it is only 10%.

I'm not really feeling that coat. It's okay and nicely tailored, I just don't really like the style because I think it's a bit too formal. For me the peacoat from look 1 on the runway, and the camel chesterfield are the best coats from this season and are much more versatile.

The SA in Avenue Montaigne just sent me photos of the new season black destroyed.
Disappointed. Seems like I can buy a plain black jeans and DIY.

Damn, they look quiet bad. Are they the same ones worn by the model on luisaviaroma? One could definitely get a better result with dyi as you said :/

Some things I wanted, not permanent collection, haven't gone on yet though.

Not everything non-permanent goes into the sale unfortunately. This season's sale was especially limited - I wonder if that has anything do with it selling so well.
