Leather and boot weather!
SLP l17 ss17 plus Wyatts chelsea boots the perfect combo. Anyone here have the 2017 l17?

I have one in 48, and I happen to be selling it right now (tag reads 2016, but I've been told it's SS17). Beautiful jacket, but I think the L01 suits my style a little better. I may even go for a FW13 or SS14 Cafe Racer instead if I can find it

Production (the date listed on the tag) is usually 6-12 months in advance

l17 is a lovely jacket, love it. Mine is in Calf which I prefer over the lamb, it looks better, feels super durable and thick.
I have a L01 from 2019 new without tags size 50 if you are interested.

Right, so I think it’s accurate that it’s SS17 or even FW16. All I know is it’s the Mutton Lamb, and has the traditional skinny fit (unlike that one season where they did an oversized L17)

It would be a bit too big my friend, but I really appreciate the offer. I’m on the hunt for a Hedi era size 48 L01 or size 50/52 Cafe since they run super small.

I go back and forth on calf vs lamb, the durability and longevity of calf is appealing, but something about lamb just has that refined, high end look to it that I appreciate.

There's an "oiled calf" one on grail in my size that is tempting me.
I think know which one youre talking about the one for size 50 with the dark background . Its the same year and model as mine l17. it's a great jacket, youd be please.

To come back to my D17 bootcut jeans purchase, I'm 50/50 on them. They're nice enough jeans but I feel like they're too similar to the black skinnies that I own from both SLP and Celine especially since they're like my fourth black pair.

Second point is also that I'll likely want to sell them if I find a bootcut/flared pair from either SLP or Celine in a different color or wash. And I'm not sure if I want to go trough the trouble.

Great pair of jeans though, likely just not for me at the moment.

I'm still looking for an l17 in a 52 but for under 2.5k but no luck. I sold my 50 since I preferred the 52 when I tried it on in soho. I've seen 48 and 50s for under 2000 multiple times but never a 52

I bought the size 50 on grail under 2400. Im sure youll find one under 2500 , gotta keep any eye out. BTW whats your stats? im about 180 lb 5 10 atheletic build and size 50 fits perfectly, i like my leather jacket snug and tight fitting for that rocker aesthetic look

Sorry to hear that. They are a slim cut with only a slight flare near the bottom, whereas the Celine Dylans seem to be a more traditional flare beginning around the knee area. Are they a size 31??

My understanding of the L17's and L01's is that there is size variation between seasons. I believe the one I'm eyeing in size 50 is supposed to be one of the slimmer ones, but the measurements look like they'd work.

They're 30. Yeah the upper half seems very much like a D18, which is a slim cut, low waist and has the same buttons, cut etc as well.

The size variations are apparent with fw13 collections. An fw13 fits much smaller than a current l01. I tried on a 50 recently the jacket fit was much bigger than my fw13 in a 52 or the fw14 one I tried on years back. The l17 variations have more do with the type of leather used as I found calf l17s fit slimmer than lamb ones. I heard the ss16 ones fit different as well but never had a hands-on experience
