Never saw that piece before. Hardware and leather look like junk. Finally, as Bill noted, the tag is off.

Yeah the tag seems weird, the N and T don't touch (though I have heard that some FW13 tags dont have them matching), but mostly was wondering if the piece is even real or fantasy fake

Sorry for doing the boring size question.

I have size 41 in SLP Chelsea Boots; could you tell me what size I need in Jodhpur boots?

Thank you so much!!

Assuming you have 41 in Wyatt chelseas it would be the same for (Wyatt) Jodhpurs. Not sure about their different chelsea and jodhpur models, but they're way less popular

Thanks for your answer. Yes I have 41 in SLP wyatt chelsea.

Now i am trying to decide between buying Black leather chelseas or cigar suede jodhpur.

I think I will go for the black chelseas.

The black leather is more versatile as you could dress it up with fromal attire easier than you could with the suede. Hoewever, get the suede if you have other black boots/dressy shoes. You cant really go wrong with either choice!

I have a pair of Chelsea 30mm and 2 pairs of Jodhpur 30mm. I also have a pair of harness 40mm.

Due to my foot shape, the Chelsea and Jodhpur fit like a charm but the harness feels like there's a gap in the arch because of the elevated heels.

I am thinking about having a cobbler lower the heel of the harness to 30mm and thinking that it would not affect the SLP 'aesthetic' too much.

Thoughts? TIA.

I remember looking this up once because I wanted my 30mm Jodhpurs increased to 40mm and the consensus seemed to be that heel height couldn’t really be changed due to issues with the arch. perhaps it’s different in your case?

Yeah. I thought in my case, the 30mm arch seems to allow my feet to sit better in the foot bed, which is probably the opposite of your experience.

Did you end up moving forward with the increase?

No I didn’t - my cobbler said there was a chance it could put undue stress on the leather, so I kept them as they were. In my case they’re still very wearable and I like them at 30mm, but if you feel yours are deeply uncomfortable without being lowered it might be worth the risk.

I'm pretty sure there are arch supports out there that could fill the gap- they aren't full insoles, and should just rest directly under your arches. Not sure if it'll fix it, but worth it to try before taking it to a cobbler or w/e

I have a high arch and use insoles in all my slp boots. I would look into insoles first before you butcher them.
