Anyone have this shirt or similar? Wondering what size to pick as it's mentioned that it runs small on Porter, although I can't trust their sizing suggestions and measurements sometimes.

I'm generally a XS/S in SLP clothing but I would rather the shirts somewhat more slim fitting so not sure should I order XS or S.

Thanks.

I agree that if you are looking for a slim fitting shirt you should probably go for an xs, however, its an over shirt, and those are usually designed to fit a bit oversized. Your safe bet may be to purchase an xs and a small and return the one that doesn't fit the way you want it to.

The model has a size 38 chest which should be about a size 15/ 15.5/medium in shirts and is wearing a large and it looks too big on him IMO.

The D02s are fairly skinny, especially around the calves again. I go TTS (28 in everything SL for instance), and the D02 is still my favorite fit. The ROW probably think they are skinny jeans, and on this forum they're considered slim unless they're from 2013! There were a few seasons in 17 I think where they ran large.

Anyway, they're great so don't worry too much about them. MIJ is skinnier for some reason than MII, IME. MIJ if you eat a lot of sashimi, MII if you eat a lot of nigiri and maki.

I just received a pair of raw D01's from 2013 that are my waist size that i legit cant get all the way up to my waist lol. I thought i would have a bit more leeway with the slim fit of the d01. It's probably heading back to ebay.

but if something is designed to be oversized...wouldnt you just take your normal size?
i mean its designed to be 'oversized' so that should be factored into the design.

but yeah, i'd order both and find out for yourself.

the duffle coat looks terrible true to size, sizing down one gives you a runway fit

I agree. I'm guessing he likes the pattern of the shirt, and wants to wear it as a regular shirt and not as an over shirt.

Personally, I would, but the OP said he would rather have his shirts slim fitting.

LOL you really think so? It is oversized which lets you wear a bit more layers underneath. The runway duffle fit doesn't like the model is wearing a size down.

Correct, I have a larger chest with slimmer waist so oversized items look terrible on me.

Looking for a red checked pattern, although I do prefer the Nashville shirt, so trying to see will this shirt sized down fit like that, if not, I suppose I need to cough up more since the other shirt isn't on sale!

My caution about sizing down on an overshirt. I tried it once, and while the chest and shoulders fit ok, the sleeves were still a bit roomier than I wanted and shorter as well. Short enough that I only wear it with the sleeves rolled, otherwise it hiked up when my arms were outstretched.

You could always try putting them on.
Wow I didn't think of that. Maybe if I had them in hand right now I could do that.

The pair I bought I believe is from 2017 so could be one of those pairs. Thanks for that though, makes me feel a bit better. Really hoping they don't stretch too much because I just moved down to 33.

Im in the market for my first pair of slp jodhpurs. Trying to decide between the nut or light tobacco color. I have a pair of chelseas in the new sigaro colorway and judging by the picture on the website new sigaro and light tobacco seem slighly different. Anyone who owns nut or light tobacco jodhpurs care to share their opinion or recommendation?

New sigaro is light tobacco. It's the same color. If you order them the box will say new sigaro not light tobacco. Get the nut.

Ive tried both and ended returning the nut jodhpurs. I liked the nut color better, similar to the original sigaro color, but I found the shaft/ instep area to be noticeably bigger than the light/new sigaro ones. It resulted in alot creasing around the strap, more so than usual. They do have different style numbers so maybe there is a slight difference in construction causing this? I'd try both if possible to eliminate any doubts

Would sizing down negate this problem from happening or is it inevitable? I’ve seen a lot of fellas on here say to size down a full size on jodhpurs
