^I'm somewhat reminded of that Rick Owens show from a few years back that involved penises.

Boys I hope this post isn't misplaced: What Hedi Dior Homme season has the best suits? Also, are there seasons where the jacket cut is a bit shorter? I am borderline short/"c", but if the cut is short I can get away with an R. Thoughts please?

@SirGrotius or anyone else: are there any SS pieces you will be picking up?

The only SS18 I'm on the hunt for is the dark brown leather jodhpurs, which I can't find anywhere.

If anyone see's any in size 8 or 8+ please let me know!

Calling aw13 and ss14 D02 denim experts or those with experience of both, does the ss14 denim cut differ from the aw13? I have a few pairs from the aw13 and have loved the cut. I've found a pair of the ss14 on grailed that I might pick up and am curious about the differences.

You're in luck. I'm a Dior suit guy. The cut has not changed much. They have two main cuts with three body types underneath them. There is what they call the skinny cut, which is boxy and has very thin lapels; this is the KVA cut. The SAs will think this is better, but it's not; ignore it.

The other cut is what they call their classic, and is the Hedi-Slimane cut. It's still very tailored and in fact tighter around the waist and still has high arm holes. The lapels are thinner than most suits out there but still reasonable for professional purposes.

There are three body types, so let's say you're a 44, they have 44R, 44, and 44C. You'll want the 44C. They might claim it doesn't exist, but call the Manhattan store, Los Angeles or Paris, because they do.

44R is regular and for the more forgiving body type. Think Tom Ford cut.

44 is Dior Homme standard, and is slim but a 72cm length in the jacket.

44C is the court (short), and is made more so for the Asian customer I suspect. Anyway, the jacket is shorter and it has the same slim cut. It's pretty great. I'm 5'6" so this is what I wear exclusively.

Keep in mind, you'll still want to get the pants tapered etc., however, the rise in the seat of the pants will also be better in the short cut. There are a lot of little things which you should like.

I hope that that is helpful.

SirGrotius!!, Thank you as always; you always help and always provide detailed and honest insight... it is appreciated. To be real, I am a Hedi guy and am interested in suits from his era... is there any season or any particular suit by Hedi that stands out in your opinion? Thanks again, Bill

The most quintessential Hedi suit, without question, is the black in the classic style. Keep in mind, this is more so for evening wear and certain specific occasions versus what I'd recommend for a go-to suit. Navy or grey are better for the latter.

Has there been a sizing change on harness wyatts? Seems the go down one from your normal size isn’t the case anymore?

Picked up these dead stock fringe wyatts from grailed a week ago. My intentions were to cut the fringes off but after wearing them for the first time today they didn't bother me. My jeans covered most of the fringes. Love the tight shaft.
