Hi all
I just bought some smooth leather calfskin boots from YSL.
Do I need to use rain protector spray on these?
Also what products for cleaning do you recommend?
Thanks

Which d'Or cream? There are few versions.
Also do I need to use rain protector for calfskin boots or will they be fine in rain?

No rain protector for calfskin. They will be fine in rain through I probably wouldn’t take them out if I knew i was going to be spending a long time in pouring rain. Make sure you let the leather dry completely before wearing again.
Saphir Medaille d’Or Pommadier cream, not wax. Match to color of your boots. If you have black boots, some people actually like to use navy cream polish. Less is more when it comes to shoe cream or wax.

If they get wet no big deal but use trees and let them dry before wear. May take a couple of days so don’t plan on wearing any ‘nice’ shoes/boots daily.

yeah this is where it becomes a pain. as your spending over £600 on boots and get told try not to wear them everyday! :(
