Hi everyone!

I just won the auction for this S.T.Dupont Blazer on Ebay.
I surely know the lighters and various other lifestyle goods from them, but never heard about them being in clothing also.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=120299869629

As I was looking for a nice solid blue patch pocket blazer for some time now, I thought at this price, you can't go wrong..

Anyone can provide some information? Experiences?

I don't know anything about the blazers, but the pants make this cool "ping" sound when you unzip the fly.

They have them in Asia.... quite drab styles. Can't comment on the construction, never really bothered to pick one up

Thanks for the comment.
I think they are made in Italy. Maybe the maker is known. I will look at the label, when I get it, maybe I can identify it.

Dupont clothing looks nice enough; the ties can be interesting. The company is run at a staggering loss. There are interesting sales in Paris every year.

I have a similar jacket, it really is quite nice, not at the top end by any means but very good value at ebay prices.

Surely they get something back from their fragrance licenses.

Yes, I think they have some non-Euro licenses here and there; I've seen some stuff in Japan, too, and it's the typical "fashion brand licensed out to lowest Asian bidder" drab stuff... I'm sure that their Euro-made goods are much nicer, so let's hope the OP's jacket is one of these and not something somebody picked up at a DutyFree shop at the Singapore Airport.
