Come again, old buddy?
I have cardigans in many colors. One of the piece is a charcoal howlin’ flying teapot, or so it’s called. Seeing the charcoal shawl above make me wanna sell the teapot to make room for it. 😂

Goddamn that cardigan *low whistles*

Steady on!

This is a family-friendly thread.

Here's the other colour, which is also in the "all knitted and now waiting to be linked" phase of production (apart from the one in this photo).

I think making all the panels of the cardigan in tuck stitch was the right move, as the difference in the textures between the shoulder/arms and the lower panels of last year's version was somewhat "louder" than I prefer.

Towards the end of October is the plan.

In the meantime, as a very hefty and hirsute stopgap, we do have the field trousers in heavy Shetland melton in derby grey set to appear online in a few days.

That is lovely. Could you remind me of the differences between this one and last year's please, Paul?

As others have spotted, the main difference is that it is entirely tuck-stitch now, whereas last year some sections were plain / knit stitch.

There remain still differences in the weights of the different sections, however, with the sleeve and back being lighter and thinner so that, should anyone wish to undertake the onerous task — for an Alpine trek, say — it is easier to slide a coat over the top of it.

We've also tweaked the fit so it has a tighter cuff, a slightly wider placket, a smaller under-collar, and if I remember rightly the pockets are higher. The usual insatiable tinkering, in other words, which makes me the bane of makers up and down the British Isles.
