Hi Paul, just curious are there any pictures of the fabrics being used for the ulster?

It is Donegal tweed — the colours very similar to those used for the balmacaan over the past few years.

The navy colour is quite a lot darker than above, however. Both the blue and the grey in the weave are a few shades darker this time around, and as a result, the off-white and grey nepps and burrs "pop" more, so it is for sure the most striking of the two.

What is the timeline for the aforementioned coat? I think I would like to be added to the list for it, if there are any XS in navy still available.

Sure, great, yes — I'll drop you a line when they're ready.

We're hoping for before this time next month.

When do you expect the peacoat in undyed grey wool to be available?

Have a gap in my closet I would very much like to fill.

Here are those shirts about which I've been waxing with somewhat earnest and involuntary zeal the past few weeks ...

"The cloth — from which incidentally today's new shirts are made — unites the original Four Horsemen of the Textilocalypse. Cotton long of staple and fine of micron accounts for half of its composition — offering a softness and wearability that says "wear me all day if you want, my friend." Silk and linen impart the slubs and nobbles and loom chatter running this way and that, as well as a light airiness when worn, while good old Mr. Wool chips in with miniature constellations of the likes of navy and chalk, which seem to have wandered into the weave from an entirely different cloth — intriguing and invigorating even the most indifferent eyeball." — what someone on Instagram wrote about it.
I’ve just taken delivery of one of these and have to say that, whilst it looks great in pictures, it has to be seen and felt in real life to fully appreciate it.

I have the sanderling but if the blue was available in my size I’d pick that up as well.

If you’re hesitating before purchasing then I’d say don’t risk on losing out.

Cheers, Ed.

Cheque's in the post. (Just kidding.)

I wear these shirts an absolute ton: they have superseded my usual go-to this time of year (all the way from now until April) which are the merino-cotton blend from Donegal of the worsted Bedford cord from Somerset from a few years back. Cosy, warm, breathable, and can take a pummeling without looking like it has aged much if at all.

I fully agree, these shirts are something special. I have both the Sanderling and Navy and wear them all the time (the navy more often in my case). Frankly, I have a closet full of shirts and probably would have missed purchasing these if not for Paul's ringing endorsement. Which is to say, Paul, please let us know if these "merino-cotton blend from Donegal of the worsted Bedford cord from Somerset from a few years back" ever finds its way back into production--I will be first in line!

Will do!

In fact, the merino-cotton is used for a few shirts with granddad collars at https://sehkelly.com/shirts. It's not as exciting visually as the sanderling cloth, but it is no less pleasurable to wear — albeit slightly thicker and slightly woollier, so geared a little more towards winter. But still a joy to wear many, many months of the year.
