A kind request:

I am struggling find pictures of the Field trousers in the wild. I’m interested in seeing how they look in real life, how people are styling them etc.

Does anyone want to do me the courtesy of sharing any in the wild pics? Instagram and Google just don’t turn up a whole lot.

/Ari

They are very, very similar to the proper trousers (their predecessor) if it helps, Ari.

Still cotton, yes. We find it the best for durability and holding its shape over time and ease-of-care (i.e. just put it in the washing machine).

The sleeves on the polo shirts will be short. We did dabble with a long-sleeve version in cotton this time last year, but it just didn't look quite right, on the body, compared either to the short-sleeve version or previous wool and cashmere variants.
Longsleeve polo in cashmere or wool soon?

I shouldn't think so, sorry.

We don't do as much material-switching as we used to, so it's probably more likely we develop a new style similar to a polo shirt, and make that in wool, rather than go back with the polo. Knitwear development is strange in that the measurements you fine-tune for e.g. cotton do not always translate well to another fibre.

I got a few. Too bad my belly prevent me from styling them. 6 more lbs to go. Once I manage to put it on I can post a few pics lol. :(

These may be a bit silly, but please enjoy these wild photos of the sail cloth field trousers in "nearly black" (I think made in 2021?) from my trip to Lake Como last year.

Paul, please contact me for your modelling needs. I'm sure we can work something out. 😂

They are being finished off at the moment. We have four colours, if I remember rightly — oatmeal, dark grey, dark green, and probably a dark navy. Please don't hold me to that! But I'm fairly sure that's what we went with in the end.

Correction: oatmeal, dark grey, dark navy, and malt (a middling beige).

Here's the latest of the hunting jacket, which we made in cotton a few months ago, but for which there seems to be consensus that a woollen version (specifically in green) is really more the main event.

So yes — the latest version of it.

We found a stupendously lovely melton in dark green. It's about the same weight as that used for the peacoat and greatcoat — i.e. very thick.

It's quite a complicated style for us, so we've made quite a few tweaks ... though it actually looks almost identical to the cotton version and the original woollen development sample.
