That collar is massive holy moley
Coats and jackets of military derivation often have that - bad mf conditions require bad mf protection! I am thankful for the alpaca/wool lined version on my new N1 reproduction.

I think it's the intersection of protection and looking smart / being imposing to the opposite team.

And now after something of a stop-start production — a chronic shortage of superfine lambswool yarn in various shades of brown — the shawl cardigan has returned to the workshop / website, too ...

We might get around to a lower-rise style of trousers at some point!

The upcoming work trousers are probably our most "normal" style, as they have a flat front, a sort of jeans-style pocket, and ... well, they're still cut in the "proper" way, in truth!
Hi there, please don´t! :)
As I am currently planning to visit your store next year I am wondering if merry old England will not only have had a couple of Prime Ministers by then:tongue:, but if your portfolio at Kelly HQ might still include the same models and cuts talked about here?
In particular I am looking for a really allround pair of trousers with proper highrise, but without any possible period costume touch to it (no pleats, no overly heavy tweed etc.) - after all I am just a high school teacher looking for quality trousers casual enough to be worn in front of the puberty army ;)
Perhaps the ´upcoming work trousers´you mention are the ones to go for? EDIT: Wait, I do not find any trousers under that name any longer?:eh: So maybe I should lean towards the https://www.sehkelly.com/shop/trousers/slim-trouser/slim-trousers-in-cotton-panama-in-black/ ?

I very much suspect our line-up next year will be more or less the same as current.

The work trousers have not yet been released: we're making them now, hopefully for completion being the end of the month. They'll be very similar to the slim trousers, but with a wider leg, and different pockets at the front.

Thanks for your fast response, and that is good to hear!
Wider legs do not go that nicely with my stork-like physique though. But I am relieved that I will still find the other trouser expressions next year. All the best to you and keep up the good work!

Same, I got rid of my lower rises denim. They are a pain as I grow older.

As someone who hoikes up their jeans with increasing regularity, I can agree.

I don't think our trousers will ever change or seek to modernise. I think of them as somewhere in between the regular and the High Rise (capitalised) and have seen them worn quite happily both ways.
