Damn, that's one hell of a cardigan. Rather than the 10-ply front and 6-ply arms and back, it's 10-ply throughout? Must be *heavy*

It is very heavy, yes. The collar / neck is double-layer, too, and the pockets at the front are effectively a second layer as well. To the hand it feels twice as heavy as the crewneck.

I was planning to wait on the trench, but the cardigan stopped me in my tracks. Now to look under the couch cushions for some extra scratch...

Paul, did you guys get a new mannequin? The chap on the new knitwear pages is listed as a standard 40/M but I could have sworn he was a standard 38/S for the longest time...

Yep, and yep, he's a 40.

I think I might've described him as a 38 here and there, but slowly but surely will make the necessary changes.

Thanks! Well noted.

For the shawl cardigan, do you find it thick enough to warrant going a size up? Or stick with our usual size?

It fits perfectly for a cardigan, rather than an outerwear / outer-layer / outer-digan — so e.g. personally, wearing size M in all of our garments, size M is my true size and fits very well, but size L is more slouchy and gives more potential for layering. (I prefer the latter.)

Slouchy is what I go with when I wear shawl cardigans. The V shape one, I prefer fitted.

Hi Paul, is there a mailing list for the trench coat? Or has a release date been set yet? Really don't want to miss this one!

There is indeed, and I will add you to it now. However, the list probably already exceeds the total number of coats made, and so, unfortunately, before I get to the bottom of the list (I do it chronologically in order of enquiry) the well might've already ran dry. It is always hard to say: the people in the list might take one look at the coat and think "that's not for me" and few will choose to pick it up.

Devastating news. Nonetheless, I appreciate you putting me on the list.

All the best.

Oh damn, can you put me on that list too please?
