This picks up a line from the "briefcase appreciation thread". Rutherfords are so singularly crap that they deserve a thread of their own.
I ordered a briefcase from Rutherfords England in March of 2021. After 14 months of excuses (that they have made to other disappointed customers), they finally claimed to have shipped the case. As "proof", they sent me a bogus shipping number......this set off another round of improbable excuses. Suffice to say, they were unable to provide evidence of shipping and eventually stopped responding to emails. I know of 3 other customers who have similarly been left empty-handed. Fortunately, I paid by visa and my bank has successfully arranged a dispute.
I would steer clear of this company.
