They should have copied WI and gone offsides on the kickoff instead of risking a "The Play" runback IMO.

Or just give a little kickback to the guy who went offsides. That guy must feel horrible.

I agree with you guys that Ito (the kicker) was lucky to get a second shot (from a lot clooser to boot), but, arguably, having a guy offsides and running at you before the play is set can throw you off as a kicker (i.e., he wouldn't have missed if the guy wasn't offsides).

Perhaps but not in this case. It was a botched plant and kick, the offsides guy was way out of the scene of action and in any case before the snap he had gotten back into position. Just a tough brake.

Hey, in 2002 Miami got rooked on a pathetically weak defensive holding call that sent the championship into overtime and ultimately lost it for them.

I suppose the sports gods have levied justice against Ohio State's star, now he'll have time to watch games at the tax payers' expense.

After 3 years of law school spent in NYC, I'd take NJ over NYC any day of the week (and did actually).

Proud to be from New Jersey baby (birthplace of college football!)

EDIT: Just for the sports alone. Knicks - suck; all NY college football teams - suck; Giants - New Jersey team; and so on.

I didn't know Rutgers even had a football team. I still think the loser of the U of M OSU game should be in the BCS Title Game against the winner. Whatever team loses is still the best one loss team in the country and still far above an undefeated Rugers team. Go Blue!!!

That's just fear talking. I don't care about who a computer says is the best team. That's boring. I want to see who wins in a head to head, which is why the basketball tournament is so fun to watch.
