1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Is this ruins like the archeological kind, or bombed out old buildings?

Does it have to be one or the other?

Would Meiji Mura count as a collection of ruins?

No, not at all. Just wondering what to post pictures of. Marbear wasn't exactly specific on this one.

haha, friendster is indeed a modern ruin.. I wonder if sites like that will still exist in 20 years. Perhaps a good picture of the Stones on a recent concert would qualify as well...

Is there any easy way to post a bunch of pictures? I've got a lot of nice ruins from a trip to middle east a while back, but not really worth going through photobucket for..

That sounds great. You could just post a link to the album. Or you can just click through the images and click on "img" on the right side of the photobucket page and it will copy the necessary code to embed the image here.

Kudo's for the one who recognises this former fort..

I meant SF. It says so in the uploadbox. Click on the pic besides the paperclip.

Edit: I just tried that and it gives the smaller clickable examples of your pics.

I use photobucket. That has multiple pic upload as well.
