I was wondering if anybody had any experience with the Rugby Ralph Lauren blazer sizes. I am a medium in their jacket sizes which is

Chest: 38 inches - 40 inches
Neck: 15 inches -15.5 inches
Sleeve: 33 inches - 34 inches
Waist: 31inches - 34 inches

and have no idea which blazer size to get, since I heard that their Rugby blazes are cut even slimmer than usual.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

really depends on how long your arm is. the sleeves of rugby blazers are very long, so if your arm isnt long enough then go for a 38, otherwise go for the 40 for it to fit around your chest. in general, the fit is quite particular and you probably dont fit.

To clarify, I don't own any of the SMLXL jackets. I own a 40L sportcoat, and it fits like a 39L. If you are a 38-40R, I'd go with the medium.

If I did get the 38R, would it have some room for my chest? My chest is 39.4inches Sleeve is 33inches Waist is 34.6inches I really hate to be asking it's just, they didn't have any measurements for their blazers on their site

I've been seeing the shoulders larger on the rugby stuff then RL polo.

i haven't personally tried any of it, just noticed the measurements to be odd on ebay listings (on otherwise consistent sellers).

There was at least one ebayer that was selling Rugby sportscoats that were marked 42L as 40L because he said the dimensions more closely resembled 40L. I would take Rugby's side in this. They know what they're selling.

I noticed one doing that for the Bleeker and congressman models as well, its quite annoying.

What I mean on the other hand is that the 38R, which typically has 18" shoulders or 17.75" shoulders on the slim models has 18.5" shoulders on the rugby stuff.
