1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    1. And remember, the weather forecast said 50% chance of rain, not 100% chance of farming. Don't wear them in town.

Out of those choice, I'd choose #3. How do you intend to use these boots?

There's the paradox. Unless you wear them in town, no one will appreciate the conspicuous consumption. Otherwise, drop about $20 at your local farmer's coop for "irrigation boots" and put the rest of the $400 to a pair of Aldens.

    I don't want a pair of hunters.

    Why?

Just seeing these boots brings back bad childhood memories.
AvariceBespoke, what specific need have you for this type of boot?
No matter the make, rubber doesn't breathe and moisture from your feet will be trapped in these.
They are all equally ugly but if you absolutely must do this, get 2 pr of the cheapest ones.
At least you would then have 2 pr in rotation. If money is no concern then get the best ones ofcourse.
