I have a pair of the French Pocket Trousers but the pockets are extremely shallow. Is this the case on all their trousers? It's pretty annoying
Agreed, just got a pair and they are a bit too shallow. The jeans are better. The chinos have the best pockets I've experienced though.

Hi all!

Maybe this was covered before, but wasn't able to find the answer.

Do Rubato standard knitwear (rollneck, crewneck...) change in size or shape after washing?

Thank you!

Surprising how long the standard knit looks on Oliver considering he's quite a tall guy

If you crop a picture that way, yes. On a full body picture - not really :) I believe Oliver is 190 cm tall and wears size L, and the standard knit just touches the top and pockets of French trousers - when extended fully. I'm of a similar height and it's the same for me when you "extend" the sweater fully. Note that on most Rubato photography, they create a "roll" at the bottom, basically pushing the hem up a bit, so sweater fabric has a break, which does make them look shorter.

On the other note, possibly some future outwear for the next season here - what do you guys think? I think (may be wrong here) that storm coat also made an appearance at Pitti and then made it into the collection. Oliver does have the vintage shorter length green quilted jacket, so this may look like a custom take on it.

I believe that's a Lavenham Mickfield

Dear friends, I'm trying to decide between sizes, so I would appreciate your suggestion, left or right?

Thanks!

I would take the one on the right. The one on the left looks a bit tight around the armpit. But I like my clothes rather loose and think tighter clothes quickly look affected.

Either way, both look good on you.

If properly washed and dried, knitwear will maintain its measurements and shape, no worries.

I think either would work but I personally prefer the left. Looks a bit cleaner.
What's the denim? Looks like a nice, higher rise
Jeans are from BRUT clothing, very high rise (33cm front rise for 40cm waist). I tapered a leg a bit, mostly hips and thigh.

Thank you all for your input.

Initially I was leaning toward smaller size, but most of you (and Rubato's customer consultant) are in favor of larger size.

I usually prefer a more trim fit as well, but Rubato knitwear is designed to be worn a bit looser and the bigger size really looks better, neater on you.
