RRL Slim Straight

So I recently bought a pair of RRL Slim Straight Jeans in what I thought was Raw/Dry Denim but I got them yesterday and they were very thin and soft, and on one of tags inside it says "Slim Straight Rinse"
are these raw denimz or did I get screwed?
if they're not will I still be able to fades on them?
