I had these made MTM, I think I first contacted them in January and received the complete shoes by the Summer. I went MTM as I have real difficulty finding shoes that fit, having narrow feet and ankles but also being unable to tolerate narrow toe boxes.
We went through two pairs of trial shoes prior to these, in both cases the trial shoes were much too tight in the toe box. The first pair in fact were completely unwearable, I couldn't put them on my feet for more than 5 minutes and was unable to walk normally in them.
The second pair was a better fit overall, but still much too tight in the toe box, particularly with regard to length of the toe box (heel to ball length was basically perfect). I was hitting the side/end of the shoes when walking.
The final pair arrived during the Summer and unfortunately while an improvement overall they were still issues with the toebox, particularly notable when walking full stride.
Sándor arranged for them to be collected and they went back to the workshop to be stretched, I was a little sceptical but figured I'd leave it to the experts. Happily it worked and I'm not having any issues now hitting the end/side when walking.
Overall, my tolerance for pressure on the toes is practically null though so unfortunately they're still a bit more snug than I'd really like. If I'd known my toe fitting preference was somewhat unusual I would have emphasised this requirement more in my original order. However I've only one pair of shoes that fits better, and generally struggle to get a reasonable fit with RTW.
In terms of customer service Sándor and Enikő have both been great to deal with and very quick to respond to emails.
I'm a little bummed that the toe issue isn't fully resolved, but given how well they fit elsewhere I reckon I'll order another pair from Rozsnyai in future on the same last but with additional modifications I.e. increases space at specific points of the toe box.
I asked for a mid brown calf, I think it was #14 based on their leather selection. I really like the colour, but they mentioned to me at the time that the leather manufacturer had stopped making that particular colour and were worried they didn't have enough of it left to complete the pair. It wasn't an issue in the end, but I'm not sure whether the replacement mid brown they're using now has the same # number as the old one. What leather did you use for this one? Nice color!
