Rose Parade 2007

Some pretty cool stuff here, if you guys didn't see it on TV.

George Lucas was the grand master and he was being escorted by about 100 stormtroopers.

Some guy flew in a old school personal rocket pack over the crowd, and there was a surprise overflight by a stealth bomber about 200' or so overhead, couldn't hear or see it until it was almost overhead. Good stuff.

Have to agree the stormtrooper bit was cool..but I'm one of those that intensely hates the Rose Parade. Every year I do a rain dance and I've never been vindicated until last year when it poured in buckets (rain going sideways with the wind) and the floats were falling apart as they were going down Colorado blvd. great stuff!!!!

after 33 years of living within 5 minutes of where all the Rose Parade festivities are held, i saw some of it live this year and i have to say that it was pretty cool.

it's weird, on TV, the floats tend to be the focus but live, it's all about the marching bands. i may very well be back next year to hear the bands.

and check out the South Pasadena float of course. go Tigers!

yes the Stormtroopers were very cool.
