Rosacea is a common skin disorder that affects 14 million Americans. The strange thing with rosacea is that most people who have rosacea are not even aware that they are suffering from it. Rosacea is typically recognized by persistent facial redness or flushing, dilated capillaries, and skin breakouts. In more severe cases, the nose may become more oily, bulbous and enlarged. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, consider seeking consultation from a dermatologist or doctor. Keep in mind that rosacea can become even more inflamed with sun exposure, wind, cold weather, alcohol, spicy foods, exercise and more importantly, with using the wrong skin care products.
