Hi everyone.
Normally I have good luck in terms of blazer sizing, as the shoulders fit well and the waist area is good too. The problem is I've been a hockey goalie as well as a rugby/lacrosse player for years and have bigger thighs. I recently tried on a gorgeous grey Strellson suit (on sale for only $300) in a 38R and unfortunately the pant was skin tight on the thighs/crotch area. I am not one for loose fitting clothing but this was skin tight although the waist was fine. Im normally a 32-33 waist in Jeans and a 34 or so in suit pants. Any ideas? I love the slim fitting blazer its just the pants always ruin it for me and I usually end up having to by separates or match navys/greys and so forth. I will probably wait until I get back to Toronto to purchase a new suit as the selection is much better. I did just receive a Baldessarini suit that was fine in the legs just needed to be let out.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Mario
