I'd greatly appreciate some recommendations on where to eat, shop and what to see?

What are the best stores for classic/street menswear in Rome? What are the best sights to see and restaurants to visit?

Thanks in advance!

You forgot the Pantheon!!

Piazza di Popolo
Piazza Navona
Circus Maximus
Vittorio Emmanuele's "Wedding Cake"
The Jewish Ghetto
Trastevere
The Borghese Gradens
Too many churches to list...

I really love the Ara Pacis (Augustus' Altar of Peace - right across from his mausoleum)

We went to a photography show at the new Maxxi Museum - well worth a look..

If a person has a day to spend in Rome, I'd suggest using a good portion of it to visit the Pantheon. The rest could be used getting lost in Trastevere.

In terms of shops, I am familiar with very excellent cigar shops, but as far as clothing goes, my only strong recommendation would be Blue Marlin and Co., but that's just me. Have been to Rome a half dozen times in the last 4 years, so if you need any specifics, PM me and I will try to help.
