Rome suggestions - food, Rubinacci, E. Marinella, Capelli

Rome for 10 days.

I've read through previous Roma threaks.

Curious to get suggestions on the following:

1) Food. Does not need to be high-end/fine dining. In fact, would prefer local/hole-in-the-wall recommendations

2) Ties. Rubinacci, Marinella, Capelli - do these makers have stores/ties available in Rome? Where to go?

3) Anything else - anything specific to see/do aside from the main attractions.

Go to Trastevere.
Ask for "I Due Ciccioni" - a hole in the wall restaurant (actually, a dude's garage)
Get there around 5 or 6. There are only a handful of tables and they fill up early.
You'll have a 4 or 7 course meal, depending on what the owner made, for about 30 euro. Wine is included.

Trastevere is cool and less overrun with tourists.

Not a hole in the wall, but I had a nice dinner at Antico Arco up the hill a little past the American Academy's palazzo a few years back.
