There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Damn, they have a lot of awesome pieces on gilt.jp. Too bad I have no idea how to get it shipped to Canada at a reasonable cost.

got my mohair cardigan and mesh tank today. Cardigan is nice, not nearly as "see through" as it looked in some pics and its pretty warm for how thin it is. Not digging the mesh tank though. too bad it was final sale

I got a pair from Gravity Pope. Only place I saw a 40 outside Japan. They fit SUPER tight though, tighter than any CPs I've ever had so you might try a 41 if they are returnable

Thanks, I got a size 41 (~8.5 on brannock) and have a little heel lift. They fit pretty well other than that though, so maybe a 40 would be too small. I'll see if heel grips or maybe insoles will help.

for Gilt JP just go to gilt.jp . . .
use a translator service like translator.google.com to translate the man/woman words, put in your email addy and stuff and they'll let you in.
brand names are in japanese and english for the international brands so it's not too tough to navigate.

Anyone with experience with this hooded cotton bomber jacket? I think it's from FW2012 Is it like a sweatshirt or warm like a parka? Kind of can't tell. Was wondering if it'd be too warm for 60'ish degree weather.

    Thanks

No I would not buy it for 60 degree weather. More like 20.

According to facebook, Blackbird got in some "neoprene gauntlets"

I put on the Parka for this season at BB the other day and it was pretty damn thick & warm
(and big - I had 3 layers on under it)

I am kinda iffy on that jean jacket design which is disappointing cause I wanted to pick up an indigo one.

Funny to see that they got a dip dye again which wasn't in the press photos or line list...I like the color though

If you make something that sells out as soon as it arrives at stores - you'll probably wanna just re-order for the next season. :)
Investors like it, stores like it and Geller's business ledger likes it.
    And so do we!

I like the denim jacket, especially like the colour. I don't plan on spending anywhere near that on a denim jacket though...
