Playing this out as well on the "Should I Shouldn't I" thread, but need your opinions on this AW08 Moleskin Bomber I'm thinking of getting on Grailed:

I'm definitely sold on this and probably will get it, my only question is: How warm is it? Can it handle 0-5C? Seems like it has some padding, but is it classified as a warm coat?

    Thanks!

Got my black chelsea boots in from meyvn. The color is more charcoal than black, so ssense's photos are probably the most accurate, more so than the show photos imo. Not necessarily a bad thing, it's just that I wanted leather more like the suede on my Virgils. My other issue with them was something I noticed when I first saw the runway photos: the shaft looked a little too big on most of the models, which I just figured was because they were so skinny. Well they feel pretty big to me, to the point where my ankle was slipping, despite feeling fine in terms of length and width :\ FWIW, I think they're still great looking boots and probably worth the price, they just weren't exactly what I was looking for. If anyone's interested, I'm gonna list my 41s for what I paid ($612) plus shipping.

I have the same thing (but in fishtail version) and I used on the coldest of days in New York winter if that means anything. It's not incredibly thick padding but with a sweatshirt or a couple layers underneath it was plenty warm. The fabric is good at blocking the wind too.

A few more things have gone up on Ssense since last night (olive varsity, court pullover) and the flight pants on Acrimony look pretty great.

Also, if anybody happens to see the beige side zips in a 45 around please give me a heads up. I got the black from Ssense but now I want the beige as well and they are out of 45's. I only know of Ssense and East Dane with the beige so far.

Good stuff, I got it on Grailed last night, can't wait to get it. If you wore yours on the coldest NYC winter days that's great, I will usually wear a knit with a scarf underneath so I believe it will keep me really warm.

Whats everybody's hopeful pickups for this season? Mine would probably have to be the multiknit sweater, long plaid, Emile bomber.

Emil bomber doesn't seem to have made it to stockists yet. @gdl said they will be getting it in though so there's at least 1 NA shop.
It seems like if you're a shop carrying Geller then bombers should be automatic though.

Brick bomber is Sebastian (we'll have in charcoal too). Emil is the hooded bomber.
