Was there an engineer pant in wool this season? Thought I saw pics from runway, but not seeing stock.

I would just email Robert Geller and ask if the piece was produced and which stockist carry it. They are pretty responsive.

Dude, that is one of those pieces you can either pull off, or you can't, and have little to do with height, unless you are very short, or very tall. fwiw, 5'10" is not short - it's actually slightly above the American national average.

The skinny jeans run quite skinny, and a little bigger in the waist then you'd expect. I am about a "true" 33, and the size 48 were actually loose on me, but the legs were essentially jeggings on my non-huge physique.

What are the different types of jeans RG makes though? I've seen type D, so I'm assuming there's a type A, B, C at least. But I've also seen 'slim' and 'skinny' jeans. I believe type D is skinny. Not sure what slim is. And don't know what the other two A, B, or C are.
So if anyone could list out the types of jeans you have and how their cuts differ, that would be absolutely perfect. Also, do RG jeans tend to have longer inseams or does it depend on the season etc?

This question has been vexing me for a long, long time.

Originally, there weren't really any clear names except "5 Pocket Skinny" was the standard sweat-pant soft amazing geller jean with *just* enough stretch and slimness.
But when he added a bevy of new styles of jeans, everyone got confused. (buckle back, cadet style, 5-year fade, etc)
So a year later, they renamed all of the jeans to A B C D but never really clarified which one was the 5-pocket skinny and what the other ones were. Most vendors seemed to think that the Type D was the 5 pocket skinny. But sometimes multiple retailers had the same exact jean and called it 'slim'.
Sometimes they have the tell-tale back pocket detail, sometimes they didnt.

To further confuse the issue, some recent seasons of whatever the 5-pockets were ended up being SUPER skinny.
And then later iterations were made of an entirely different thinner, more striated and less stretchy denim (last seasons sepia jean, for instance) that seemed to have a slightly different cut.

AND on top of THAT - I'm 75% sure totokaelo has a pair of sepia jeans from this season that are a DIFFERENT denim from last season with the same exact cut and pocket details.

    So, basically, we don't know.
(even those who have seen the order sheets for these seasons have said they don't offer much clarification)

    Sweet.

another question, how does the dip dye sweater fit?

Does the 48 fit like an M or does it fit a bit larger?

How about Geller sweaters in general? How about the bomber?

Should fit the same. It seems like the sleeves are longer on his sweaters.

I find the dip dyes fit slightly large. I usually wear a size small (I'm 5'9'' about 150lbs); I had a size 46 from 2011 and I thought it was a little too loose on me. I sold it and bought a size 44 and it fits perfectly.

    They're meant to be oversized

    They're not that big though...
    I'm a 44 and I like how my 48 fits better than my 44s :)

Damn $315 is a lot for that dip dye.

I picked up one for $175 during sale season.

    Nvm.

    I wouldn't be that bummed.
Next season's dip dye is probably infinitely more interesting anyway, and if you're already paying retail...

Dang...for that price I should sell my dip-dye. Have the same one in a 46 but it seems to fit like a 48 or 50 in the body and sleeves. Fits in the shoulders though, so you can tell it's just meant to be oversized.
