For sure you can't mark it as sold out?
I do like the idea of leaving things.
Maybe make a category of "sold" stuff and move things when they're gone?
    Maybe "Archive"?

I was also thinking maybe it would be cool to put each wave into its own category like "drop 1, drop 2" etc.

I personally prefer the idea of things coming on the site in digestible chunks and not trickling in randomly.

A date added filter would probably be sufficient. Browse new stuff frantically and old stuff at your leisure.

    Yeah,

I need to learn a lot more about the Big Commerce system, which is actually quite powerful, to be able to do stuff like that. I know that it's easy to order by "Newest Arrivals", but I'm not sure that I can separate those out. If you guys know how to get Big Commerce to read "SOLD OUT" across the item that is sold out, that would be cool. I've looked, but don't really have time to spend delving into this, at least not for a bit.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

Fok, i hope you can work out quickly the possibility of holding purchases through the course of this sample sale and dispatching them together instead of shipping each intl order @ $39.

Well, it's actually a realtime quote right now. As for the stupid thing, I can't even get the USPS click'n'ship system to properly automate with my exported csv files. I am going to kill someone if we have to type in each field by hand, which I will do if necessary. It's one of those things where you get through all the steps, and then, bam... failure at the last step. :FU:

I'm not sure that it's feasible to do as you said, mainly because we ship out immediately (day after) an order. We have no idea whether a customer is going to order more items, and when.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

So, a couple of quick updates:
    1) USPS software sucks. Not a little bit either. Huge. But I think that we can do it now. Everything to be fulfilled tonight and to be sent out tomorrow, for all American customers. International customers, it's a definite "maybe", but I hope that that maybe is a yes.

    Thanks fro bearing with us.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

I'm a pretty big fan of Endicia for printing postage. It's a huge time saver, since there's not much of a learning curve for printing postage for either domestic or international. It's not free ($15ish/month), but since I've had no issues with it in the nine years I've used the software, I consider it money well spent.

The USPS system sucks... bad. I printed out the labels, but, unsurprisingly, the software would not allow me to pay (hilarious), so I need to get down to the post office tomorrow with 25 individual packages, all labeled, and still have to get in line.

I may try the Endicia. The problem with all those apps is that you never can trust the reviews. So, this software works well with USPS? Because today was not smooth riding.

    Oh, right. Also,

So... everything is ready to go out tomorrow morning. A few hiccups, but we are getting better at this. I'll put stuff up on Wednesday morning. What are you guys looking to see more of? Tees? Shirts (I am going to put a bunch of those up for sure), pants? Maybe some scarves?
