the sepias are not a gradient jean - they're 'mottled'
But mottled isnt the right word either.

    Look at Blackbird's pic

    More like "stained"?

Yeah you're right gradient isn't the right word, but I'm just not 100% sure the ones are yoox are the same because they look like a solid color on there and they're just listed as being "brown". Would of assumed more sizes would have sold out if they were the sepias since that's a pretty good deal.

There is no 'plain brown' color from this season, it's sepia black, green, pink.

I would say coated, they are definitely sprayed after they're put together. You can see where it stops inside the pocket.

The ones on Barneys are the same, just different lighting

And I assume you meant Barneys when you said Yoox?? Barneys online stock doesn't always update properly, so I wouldn't be surprised if some sizes are sold out. And if not then yeah, more people should jump on it

Oh weird - maybe the brown effect is from light sprayed bleaching?
Or is the brown sprayed on?
I did not notice this in person.

Yeah i meant Barney's. Both have such vague produc descriptions lol. Thanks melon, I'm probably going to wait for another drop though. More interested in saving some funds for the sample sale.

Just got the black dip-dye sweater and actually feel it runs large... I'd say arms are slim, but the chest and body could fit a larger person. Shoulders are fine, maybe a tad big. I actually came here to ask if anyone has experience shrinking these sweaters in the wash/dryer...I've been after a dip-dye for forever and I finally got one so I don't want to return/sell it if I don't have to.

Here's a new piece on Mr. Geller: http://www.inqmind.co/2013/05/from-behind-the-looking-glass/. It treads a lot of the same ground that's been covered before (Marc Jacobs, Cloak, etc), but still worth a look, I think. There are also some pics of his showroom.

    I like this attitude:
"There are a million things that are more important than fashion, I realized that. But that extra time in your life, the one when you’re looking through a magazine or when you’re getting dressed in the morning, that’s when I knew I wanted to create a little piece of that inspiration."

Random: I visited Barney's for the first time this season and checked out the neoprene vest. It smelled way more plastic-y than I imagined. Would still wear

I shrunk mine slightly in the dryer, without washing. Just be careful and check it every few minutes. It can easily shrink too much length-wise if you do it too long.

Seconds is back! At least it is at the Barney's Co-Op in Glendale/Americana. And it has that "exclusively ours" signage over it...don't know how true that is.
Forgive me if this has already been mentioned. Or don't. I don't care!

what are your guys' opinions on seconds? i've never really been a fan but mostly because i haven't had any experience with them.

the tanks are ok, and so are the hoodies, but I've never really taken a look at anything else.

I own a number or Seconds pieces...and I'm a huge fan. Looks and feels great. Then again, I acquired mine at a pretty good discount so my viewpoint is skewed
