1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

    Margaret Howell

British-based designer Margaret Howell has been quietly amassing a body of work that is a great relief from the overdesigned and painfully gaudy faux-designed nonsense that populates so many runways. Employing a casual vibe with a dash minimalism, Margaret Howell’s mainline and MHL offshoot are just awesome.

    Shoe Polish

In this thread we help a poster decide between two shoe polishes for a pair of decent-looking laceups. Look, not every thread needs to be exciting and drama filled. What do you think?

    RRL

RRL is probably the best thing that Ralph Lauren has contributed to the world since he decided to put bears and American flags on cableknit sweaters in 1996. A mix of traditional Western wear and quality Americana, it’s a bizarre combination of high-end, big business and marketing and niche aesthetic.
