Rogue Territory Stantons VS Striders (and help with rise)

I'm having a very hard time deciding between the RT Stantons and the Striders. Does anyone own both and can tell me the major difference? I realize rise is one of them, but that leads me to my next questions. How do I determine which rise would look best on me? What fits are achieved in high vs medium rise. Would high rise allow me to wear the jeans more so on my natural waste and still be able to achieve stacks in the legs? Any clarification in how you go about determining this would be greatly appreciated, as well as any input from anyone that has worn but models first hand.

I advise trying on both styles if possible to make certain you get the fit you are looking for. Denim sizing and fit can be difficult. It seems each maker has a unique sizing method from my experience. Rogue Territory SK's in a 31 fit me great, I had to size up to a 32 in the Stantons. My inseam is 29.5 so they all have to be hemmed from 34. Not trying on denim before you buy if you don't already wear that particular size and style is like Russian roulette IMO. Try before you buy.
