Rocking suspenders (is it possible)

I don't know, maybe it's because I've been watching a lot of Westerns lately, but I have been giving some thought to suspenders. Is it even possible, though, to wear these and look decent. Or has Mork from Ork (and bowling pin jugglers everwhere) ruined them for good?

Anyone here rock them?

I use to rock them w/ them just hanging down, not really surving any kind of purpose.

I assume you mean with streetwear. I have one friend who wears them with denim - it works on him because he is a very quirky and hip-nerdy future English prof and he displays no hint of self-consciousness.

Suspenders normally look stupid on people but some can pull it off and look pretty cool. I think this applys to any article of clothing.

I.. wouldn't say any article of clothing (ahem. Hammer Pants. Roca. Apple Bottoms), but certainly much of the more eccentric stuff that the generally conservative community here would shun can work if worn with a certain necessary defiance. I'd say suspenders, or at least some of them, fall into that category. Just don't try and pull off Hammer Pants.
