Herringbone is certainly an attractive pattern for socks. I must look for more.

I normally don't seek out socks with colored toes and heels, but I find that they make it easy to match and pair when the socks are solid navy. I liked these so much for that reason I bought a second pair.

Nice combo chorse123, but I believe it might be time to drop those off for new rubber heel toplifts.

Yeah, no kidding. The shoes are beat to hell. I give them no love. Oddly enough, this has seemingly improved the way they look (aside from the heel, I mean).

And thanks. The Marcoliani are fantastic - not touched even once during the entire day, either to pull them up or adjust the grip on the leg - but then I might be a little biased.

Are these sea island cotton? Or wool? If wool, where did you get them? They are swell.

Being that they are Marcoliani's, they are either pima cotton and nylon (~75/25) or merino/nylon (80/20). I don't recognize that pattern right offhand but the Marco's I own that are similar are mostly the cotton blends.

Cashmere/silk- from Kabbaz. They hold up surprisingly well.

Hey Chorse- can you get some of the horiz. striped Marcoliani's? I'll take 'em!

He has the pattern in sea island.
