1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Uncle Mac,
Where are you getting these amazing argyle socks? ...and are they available in extended sizes (13-15)?

    Nice shoes stitch.

I have a question. Do I NEED to own full-brogues? Can I get by with half-brogues, quarter brogues and austerity brogues?

    thanks!

short answer, not needed, but nice to have.

at a minimum id say to have a cap to, perforated or not, no medallion and a full brogue. the austerity and half brogue are nice, but between the 2 aforementioned i think youre ok.

Saw this pre-edit. You know what all those are, don't lie!

There's just something I don't like about a full-brogue. But you know what I have currently and on the way. Anything but ordinary.

:) see my second edit above. if full brogues are not your thing, then go with half's.

I mostly lurk right now because summer is freaking hot here. We've had quite a few days in the 108-112 range. Ay dios mio como sufro! So I wear polo shirts a lot, no ties, and no SCs. So when winter rolls around I'll be posting more.
