    Damn I throw and buy new socks like every 2-3 months.

    Very wrong. Even my rugby socks lasted longer than that.

    Hopefully he's just buying cheapo socks, if they're only lasting a couple months.

    Wrong, my socks are from pantherella only. But I think it's fresh to buy new underwear/socks every 2-3 months. Of course that they can hold longer, but I don't keep it for that long.

    I find that they start to get even more comfortable around that 3-4 month period.

    Seemed like you were saying you wore through them in 2-3 months, not that you got rid of them and replaced them.

    This seems wasteful (not to mention expensive) to me, but to each their own. I'll even darn a sock that is in otherwise good condition if it gets a small hole in it. There's something about that little line of thread just above the big toe area that gives a sock character that can't be purchased.

    I keep my socks as long as there is life in them (which, like Stitchy, is a long time).

    i dont get that. sorry bro. if i have an item i like, weather its socks or a suit. i keep it as long as i enjoy wearing it. horses for courses i guess. :)
