why i love it. your shoes have no creasing at all, did you recently polish or do they just fit so incredibly well??

I lightly cream polish my shoes after every wear (when I'm not on the road). It's also been a about a month since I've worn these so they've had a long rest on the lasts.

I did have the 348 last professionally fitted at the Jermyn Street store. Had I ordered them online I would never have had the courage to size down.

I have four pairs on this last, two Drummonds and two Mertons. Of all four pairs this one has done the best with creasing. Don't know why.

The ways of the crease are an enigma wrapped in a riddle to some degree. Although proper fit is certainly important. Snug to tight when new being better than roomy.

They are C&J tan. Pretty much they haven't changed color since new as the only cream and wax I've used on them is tan, which is nearly clear.
