As for vertical striped socks (which I greatly prefer to horizontal stripes):

The Calvin Klein ones that I have on today were gifts and were in 'three packs' so I presume came from some place such as TJ MAXX or some other outlet retailer. Quality is nothing special but I do like the stripes.

The others (orange, purple and green) that I wear are all Pantherellas from Woods of Shropshire (online).

If you find good additional sources let me know.

Thanks, I have another pair in two tones of burgundy which I personally like even more. Since Dore Dore were bought by Gallo few years ago they have been producing very nice patterns. Some are produced in Italy (from the tag, I guess in the Gallo's factory) and some in France.

The shoes had extra fun last week. First they got caught in a downpour, then they spent a Saturday on a 'gentlemen's farm' including walks through the vegetable gardens and to view the critters. They look a little rugged from all the extra fun. I kinda like 'em this way.
