Shell can dry out just like any other leather. Reno adds moisture.
Why not the Saphir cordo cream? 'cuz I don't happen to have any and don't believe I need lot's of 'special' products in general.

Specials shoes needs special products! It comes from France, has some exotic and secret ingredients, and there is a 2 week waiting period...:D

Well then.......by all means! But only if it also costs 4 times as much. It can't be special without paying a super premium!

And by the way - Snark aside - I do really like Renovateur and the Saphir Nuetral wax is indeed far superior to plain old Kiwi nuetral.

Have you tried AE neutral, give it a shot and then tell me. Please factor in the following as part of your feedback....Made in USA, free shipping and if you are lucky you get a discount when on sale...
That's a k/o punch by itself isn't it?

hey! hey! are you still there?

^ Awesome Romain. Which last? And that's just green calf I assume?

Just curious what does apply Reno to a shell achieve? Secondly I believe and I may be wrong Saphir makes a cordovan cream, any reason you choose not to use it and prefer the reno instead?

Renovateur moisturizes and brings up the shine in shell. Shell can only absorb so much Renovateur at one time, so it's important not to overdo it. If you aren't getting the shine you want with your one application of Renovateur, then it's time to break out the Venetian Cream and that deer bone.

EDIT: I have never used a deer bone on shell personally, but those who have swear by it.
