- Silvano Lattanzi norvegese monkstrap in cherry patina (maiden voyage)
- Corgi wool/cashmere/silk socks
- Custom tweed 12 oz trousers

The norvegese are turned outwards and then folded back under itself. A very rare way to do it.

Glad you like it. Not all norvegese are big clunkers, some are quite classic and elegant. They are probably my favourite shoes, they feel like a dream. Single monks are my favourite style too.

As I already said, I really like the relaxed, unobtrusive elegance of your pairs of Lattanzi. I also love their leathers (for what I can see in the pictures) and this one looks gorgeous.

Is it a new pair, or you have just worn it for the first time?

A new pair.
That is the thing about Lattanzi, his shoes ooze relaxed elegance, yet they are stunning masterpieces. It is something no other maker does IMO. No photos ever do them justice.
The leathers are better than the John Lobb Paris shoes.

- Silvano Lattanzi longwing (maiden voyage, 2 weeks ago)
- Bresciani otc socks -90% wool/10% poly
- Custom 17oz tweed trousers

- Silvano Lattanzi buried shoe (maiden voyage)
- Corgi wool socks
- Custom 17 oz tweed trouser

The shoes were buried in the mud for years, and the natural looking patina looks like old furniture wood. They look terrible in the photo, but in real life they are stunning masterpieces and look 100 times better, real wow factor. Wish there was a better photo.

I like both combinations. I prefer the second model (cap toe Oxford), but I would prefer a plain colour. Burying the shoes seems a sort of drivel to me, but maybe I should see them in person.
