The color combinations and patterns of VK Nagrani socks are too ostentatious for my tastes. I understand he has quite a following of fans who love them but I have never felt they paired well with anything I wear.

He makes some incredibly comfortable pima cotton T shirts and boxer shorts that are made in Peru. If you have a chance, check them out. The heather grey is especially nice. Note the print inside the boxers. The guy does have a sense of humor.

Many of the socks are a little loud, even for me (and I like so loud socks), but thats what love about these. They are simple in color and are not a construction orange. They are a little more muted. But I have to say the fit of these are great and they stay up, unlike my Lorenzo Uomo socks.

So are these socks too loud for your personally or are you talking about the whole line in general? I like the sence of humor on the boxers :)

^I like the colors and patterns in the Nagrani's, but every pair I've tried is way too tight in the calf - and I do not have big legs. I ended up getting rid of all of them.

CBD Monday (or about at CBD as I get.)
Shooz - G&G Grants on the TG73 - Vintage Oak
Socks - Geoffry Beene cheapies from the dept store.
    Trousers - I'm not telling, cuz you'd laugh :)

Uncle Mac - Keep the good work! Thinking I might order some Aldens this week.

JhCam8 - Your new St. C boots need to be reposted in the Shoe Porn Thread! They are too great to get lost in the shuffle of 'The Great Gemming Debate'. Your shoes today look swell with your rug. Which, by the way, is quite a great rug - Caucusus region?

Howie - I like how you combine gray and orange, and the way your shoes have an orangish tone to them which makes the socks seem less jarring. The socks are too bright for my personal taste - but to me you have used them well.

Thanks Gdot. Being new here it is nice to know I am not a style pariah :) Althought I do feel like I am learning alot on here.

jhcam8 - They are tight, but I think that is why I love them. I have smaller calfs, and these socks stay where I put them and I don't have to readjust every few minutes.
