I have the same shoes. Very fond of them I am too. Sized down half as I found my other 205 lasts comfortable but spacious, with suedes ability to stretch I chanced going down a half. Seems to work well, especially without socks!

How do you like the bresciani linen socks? I'm thinking of getting a pair but have heard bad things about linen socks.

I like them a lot. I think I’ve got all of their colors, and tons of other socks. So, they only get in the rotation in the summer or spring and still that’s not that often. Which means, not tons of wear on them. I’m curious what are the complaints others have about them.

I don't remember if it was brand specific, but there was a thread where people claimed they were uncomfortable and would stretch. This caused them to sag and bunch around the ankles. Good to know you have had 0 problems as I am a person who can't stand being hot, but seemingly finds himself in very hot places.

Ahh ok. I can see how that might be a problem with linen. The first two pair I got from them, I only picked up two pairs because I was concerned about that. But, at least so far the Bresciani have not had that problem.

I’m very fussy about my socks though, so it could just be my experience.
I hand wash all my socks as well as air dry them; and am very careful to not over stretch, when putting on and removing them.
