Robinson's Shoes: Dispute and subsequent resolution.

    It's very simple. The website promised 1-2 days, now it's 4 and counting.

    Wednesday was day one, I ordered before the start of your business day. Saturday was day four, since on your website you stated that you work Mondays to Saturdays.

    Regardless, even by your very loose standards of counting days, it is still 2 days and not shipped. Any major retailer would have seen that as a missed promise.

    If you're going to accuse your customer like this, then I don't want to have anything to do with your shop. Please just cancel my order and refund it, I will take my business to Pediwear.

    Is it a "missed promise?" Yes. Is it worth griping about on a forum? No.

    Just putting it out there so difficult customers like myself who require instant gratification can look elsewhere. :)

    This is certainly not the right place to discuss things,and the offer of a phone call stands. Your order was cancelled yesterday(Monday) and your money refunded!

    I appreciate the quick cancellation and refund. I also will like to apologize for being a difficult customer and any offence I caused.

    However, my comments on the slow turnaround time and missed promise stands. In this age of instant gratification, a quick turn is crucial for a service business. I ended up buying my product from another source and it was shipped in one day as promised, with free gifts and no drama.

    I agree this forum is not the place to continue the discussion after my initial post about my experience, and I apologize for that also. However, I don't agree with you chiding your customer openly (post #30) even if you don't agree with him. I've also been in the service industry before and that's just bad for business.

    No, at least not by me. And I've tried to contact Styleforum several times to have them delete it, but no response or anything.
